About Us

About Reel Causes Society

Our vision is to educate through the power of film and inspire change through cause-based organizations.

Reel Causes partners with filmmakers and Canadian causes dedicated to addressing global social justice issues. We host film screenings followed by a panel discussion to educate and inspire our community, and provide a forum for authentic conversation around the issues that affect us locally.

Our screenings foster an environment for audience members to discuss causes freely with artists and organizations, with the goal of inspiring individuals to make a positive difference—in their own unique way. Our sessions are thought-provoking, inclusive and inspirational.

Our mission is to educate and inspire our community through creating partnerships between filmmakers and local causes dedicated to addressing similar social justice issues.
