Reel Causes Partners with Coexistence Films and Protect the Inlet to Present Warrior Spirit

On March 19th, Reel Causes is honoured to partner with Coexistence Films and Protect the Inlet to present Warrior Spirit at the Rio.

A simple window washer and fisherman, Will George’s life transformed when Tsleil-Waututh Elders chose him to protect his Nation’s lands and waters against the Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion (TMX). Will challenges leaders like Justin Trudeau, striving to halt the threat Canada imposed on stolen land.

Intertwined with the Two-headed Serpent story, narrated by Elder Xwechtaal, the documentary displays Will’s resistance and efforts, ultimately facing criminal charges.

Join us for the Vancouver premiere of Warrior Spirit, with an exclusive panel featuring Stand.earth and members of Will George’s family from Tsleil-Waututh Nation, Tzeporah Berman, Raven Trust, and others.
